- We never sell your personal data.
- You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing jenny@jennymorandigital.com.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. That means we decide how and why it is used, and we are responsible for looking after it.
What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal data when you:
- visit jmnapp.com,
- contact us through the form on the website or by email, or
- log in to a client dashboard that we host on a jmnapp.com address.
It follows the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, your email address and whatever you write in your message.
- Email: your email address and the content of any emails you send us.
- Client details: if you become a client, we keep the business contact and billing details we need to work with you and to invoice you.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website or a dashboard, our hosting and security providers receive basic technical data such as your IP address, your browser type and the time of your visit. This is needed to deliver the pages to you and to keep the website secure. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
Information shown in client dashboards
Dashboards display advertising performance data taken from the client's own ad accounts, such as spend, clicks and sales totals. This data is grouped together at ad and campaign level. It does not identify individual customers, and the dashboards are not designed to hold personal data about them.
How we use your information
The law requires us to have a valid reason, known as a lawful basis, each time we use personal data. The table below sets out ours.
| What we do | Our lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Reply to your enquiry and discuss working together | Our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract |
| Set up, run and support your dashboard | Performing our contract with you |
| Send invoices and keep business records | Performing our contract with you, and meeting our legal obligations for tax and accounting |
| Keep the website and dashboards secure and working | Our legitimate interest in running a safe and reliable service |
We do not send marketing emails to people who have only filled in the contact form. We do not make automated decisions about you.
Cookies
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking pixels on jmnapp.com.
Two kinds of strictly necessary cookie may be set, and neither is used to track you:
- Security cookies: our security provider, Cloudflare, may set a cookie to help tell real visitors apart from automated traffic.
- Dashboard login cookie: when you enter the password for a client dashboard, our hosting provider sets a cookie so that you stay logged in.
These cookies are essential for the service to work, so the law does not require us to ask for your consent before they are set.
The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts. To deliver the font files, Google receives your IP address. Google states that it does not use Google Fonts requests to build profiles or to target advertising.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of our providers are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. When that happens, we rely on safeguards approved under UK law. These include the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (often called the UK-US data bridge) and the standard contract terms approved by the UK Information Commissioner.
How long we keep information
- Enquiries that do not lead to work together: up to 24 months after our last contact, and then deleted.
- Client contact and billing records: for 6 years after our work together ends, which is the period that UK tax and company law requires.
- Technical logs: kept by our hosting and security providers for a short period, in line with their own policies.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner. We will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you,
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete,
- ask us to delete your data,
- ask us to limit how we use your data,
- object to us using your data where we rely on legitimate interests,
- ask us to send your data to you or to another organisation in a commonly used format, and
- withdraw your consent at any time, in any case where we have relied on consent.
To use any of these rights, email jenny@jennymorandigital.com. There is no charge, and we will reply within one month.
How to complain
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please email jenny@jennymorandigital.com first so that we can try to put it right.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), which is the UK regulator for data protection. You can reach the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Security
We take sensible steps to protect your data. The website and dashboards are served over an encrypted connection, client dashboards are protected by a password, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it.
No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a data breach ever puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the ICO as the law requires.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses. They are not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed. If we make a significant change that affects clients, we will let them know by email.
